Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro, The Gathering Darkness

Few among the Fane of Nyrro command life and death as completely as Harasheth, the Gorged Darkness. Friend and enemy alike can become fuel for his sorcery, their fallen bodies dragged back into service as his forces grind down anything standing in their way.

The Gathering Darkness is a complete Dusk Fane of Nyrro army box built around a resilient attrition style. Rather than relying purely on speed or a single decisive strike, Harasheth leads a force designed to endure, exploit casualties, and keep pressure on the opponent as the battle develops. Steamforged positions the army for both command and skirmish-level Warmachine games, making the box a substantial starting point for a new Fane of Nyrro force as well as a source of additional options for an existing army.

At the center is Harasheth, the Gorged Darkness, supported by the heavy warbeast Vordak and a mixture of solos and units including the Styrge Hounds, Hollowed, and Merciless. Together they give the force the models needed to put Harasheth's darker, attrition-focused approach to the Fane on the tabletop.

For players entering Warmachine through Dusk Fane of Nyrro, The Gathering Darkness offers a different route into the army rather than requiring you to assemble your first force model by model. Existing Fane players can instead use its models to open up new army-building and tactical options.
