Starcraft Zerg Defiler

Unleash biological warfare upon your enemies with the Zerg Defiler for StarCraft: Tabletop Miniatures Game. First introduced during the Brood War, the Defiler is a specialist support organism capable of disrupting enemy formations and protecting the Swarm as it advances across the battlefield.

Rather than relying on brute strength, the Defiler manipulates the battlefield through powerful biological abilities. Dark Swarm provides protection against ranged attacks, while Plague weakens enemy positions and forces opponents to reconsider their tactics. The Defiler can also consume lesser Zerg organisms to fuel its abilities, reflecting the ruthless efficiency of the Swarm.

This expansion introduces a Defiler miniature alongside dedicated components for representing its abilities during gameplay. The included Plague Blast Template, Dark Swarm token and Burrow token help players track its presence and effects, while the Defiler Unit Card and Defiler Mound Tactical Card provide the corresponding game content.

For Zerg players, the Defiler offers an alternative to straightforward aggression, emphasizing battlefield control and tactical support. Its abilities complement the Swarm's relentless approach, creating opportunities to protect advancing units and disrupt enemy defenses.

The miniature also provides a distinctive painting project for Zerg collectors. Its organic appearance offers plenty of opportunities to experiment with chitin, biological textures and the unsettling colour schemes associated with the Swarm. All models are supplied unpainted and unassembled.
