Malediction Two Player Starter Box: Polinore vs Vorendal

Enter the dark fantasy world of Malediction with the Two Player Starter Box: Polinore vs Vorendal. This complete starter set introduces two players to a tactical miniatures card game that combines deckbuilding, battlefield positioning and strategic combat. Everything needed to begin playing is included, with cardboard standees for immediate gameplay and downloadable 3D-printable miniatures for those who want to bring their battles to life.

Two Powerful Seekers, Two Different Armies

At the heart of this starter set is a confrontation between Polinore and Vorendal, two powerful Seekers competing for supremacy in the world of Malediction. Each commands a dedicated deck of cards, providing the units, abilities and tactical options needed to challenge an opponent.

Malediction combines the strategic decisions of a card game with the spatial elements of a miniature wargame. Players must consider how they deploy their forces, position their units and use their cards to influence the battle. Victory depends on more than having powerful cards: understanding the battlefield and making the right decisions at the right moment are equally important.

Play Immediately or Print Your Own Miniatures

One of the most accessible features of Malediction is its approach to miniatures. The starter box includes cardboard standees and plastic bases, allowing both players to begin playing without purchasing, assembling or painting physical miniatures.

For players who enjoy the miniature hobby, the box also includes a redemption code providing access to 45 downloadable STL files for 3D printing. These allow you to replace the standees with detailed physical models and develop your own miniature collection.

Both approaches use the same game system, so you can start with the included standees and introduce printed miniatures whenever you are ready.

A Complete Introduction to Malediction

The Polinore vs Vorendal Starter Box provides the core components for two players to explore Malediction. With two dedicated decks, a paper playmat, dice, tokens, a measuring ruler and introductory rules, the set offers a practical starting point for learning the game.

Once familiar with the mechanics, players can explore additional Seeker Decks to discover new leaders, cards and tactical possibilities. This makes the starter box both a self-contained introduction and a foundation for expanding into the wider Malediction game system.
