BLKOUT – 2-Player Demo Kit

The BLKOUT 2-Player Demo Kit introduces two players to the fast-paced tactical combat of BLKOUT without requiring a full force for either side. With eight detailed resin miniatures, introductory rules, unit cards, dice and acrylic tokens, this set provides everything needed to learn the game's core mechanics through a guided two-player experience.

Learn BLKOUT Through Play

Designed specifically for introductory games, the Demo Kit allows two players to explore BLKOUT's movement, positioning, shooting and tactical decision-making using two balanced groups of mercenaries.

Each side receives four miniatures representing rifle-equipped soldiers and heavy weapon specialists. The mirrored compositions allow both players to concentrate on learning the rules rather than managing different force capabilities.

Two quick rules sheets provide the introductory mechanics, abilities and a guided demo walkthrough, while the included unit cards keep essential information readily accessible during play.

Detailed Miniatures and Reusable Components

The eight miniatures feature BLKOUT's distinctive near-future military aesthetic and are manufactured in flexible resin. They are supplied unpainted with black bases and require minimal preparation before assembly.

The included hard plastic unit cards are suitable for use with dry-erase markers, making it easy to track information throughout a game. Laser-cut acrylic tokens and ten-sided dice complete the tabletop components.

Once players have learned the fundamentals, the demo miniatures can also be used as playable mercenary units in regular BLKOUT games using the included BLKLIST unit cards.

An Introduction, Not a Complete Force

The 2-Player Demo Kit is intended to teach BLKOUT rather than provide two complete armies. It contains the miniatures and components required for the introductory experience, but neither player receives a full force for standard games.

For players who want to explore the system before investing in larger forces, or experienced wargamers introducing BLKOUT to friends, the Demo Kit offers a practical starting point.
