1490 DOOM : The Ashbound Doom Company

When everything else has fallen, The Ashbound keep fighting. This complete three-warrior Doom Company for 1490 DOOM brings together a Warrior Priest, Blacksmith and Executioner, three grimdark survivors united by their determination to endure even the most desperate battles.

Rather than relying on overwhelming strength, The Ashbound are defined by their ability to keep going when defeat seems inevitable. Field them as a complete company or combine their specialists with warriors from other Doom Companies to create your own fighting force.

The Company That Refuses to Fall

In the apocalyptic medieval world of 1490 DOOM, surviving another minute can mean the difference between victory and becoming another forgotten casualty of the Creeping Death.

The Ashbound have faced the edge of destruction so many times that fear has become almost meaningless. They are not driven by glory or the promise of conquest. Their purpose is simpler: survive long enough to fight again.

The Warrior Priest provides the spiritual determination that holds the company together. His prayers are not for glorious victory, but for another breath, another moment and another opportunity to endure.

The Blacksmith keeps the fight going when equipment begins to fail. Broken armour and damaged weapons are obstacles to overcome rather than reasons to surrender.

The Executioner waits for the moment when an opponent is weakened. While his companions struggle to remain standing, he represents the ruthless conclusion to a battle of attrition.

Together, these three specialists form a Doom Company with a distinctive identity built around perseverance, endurance and exploiting the opportunities that emerge during a prolonged fight.

Endurance as a Fighting Philosophy

1490 DOOM features fast tactical skirmishes between small companies of three warriors. Every character matters, and choosing the right combination of specialists can shape your approach to the battlefield.

The Ashbound appeal to players who enjoy a company with a strong survival theme. Their combination of determination, practical resourcefulness and ruthless finishing power makes them a characterful alternative to companies focused on speed, infiltration or direct aggression.

You can field all three warriors together or mix individual specialists with characters from other Doom Companies. Experiment with different combinations and develop a fighting force that reflects your preferred approach to 1490 DOOM.

For miniature painters and hobbyists, The Ashbound also offer three distinctive medieval characters with plenty of grimdark personality. The included weapon and hand options provide additional opportunities to personalize the miniatures during assembly.
